Scottish Youth Theatre is proud to welcome Melanie Jordan to facilitate just two workshops on the theatrical art of clowning. Participants will be able to explore the basics of physical theatre and develop skills in theatrical clowning. Melanie Jordan is an award winning theatre maker. One half of Jordan and Skinner, a physical theatre duo whose work has been shown throughout Scotland. Their work is self-described as 'a mix of physical theatre, clown, dance, politics, and visual metaphor'. Book now for your chance to work with one of the most exciting theatre makers in Scotland! Mel is also one of the directors on Slug, a clowning show for young people aged 7 and up, performing at the Brain Cox Studio at the end of October.
